London Calling

Well, we've made it.

21 hours in the sky, 1 hour in Hong Kong, 1 hour on the tarmac at Heathrow and another 2 hours in a sweaty customs line and we were in London! Welcome to the UK!

The weather wasn't such a pain; a sunny day top of 24 degrees, thank ya hairy crutch! Sticky, tired , disheveled, a wee bit cranky and a wee bit excited we found our bags with no worries and were greeted at the gates by Melbourne buddies Gemma and Liam (thanks for waiting 3hours for us guys! Eternally grateful.) For those interested in the flight meals were surprisingly good, movies were all 4 months old - some already out on DVD, and we sat across from Andy Warhol who, as it turns out, is a fussy eater.

We arrived at my Aunty Renee's house at 6 and were greeted by a smiling face and a warming meal. I passed out soon after due to exhaustion.

Sunday we went to Greenwich with Renee where i had my first English Sunday Roast. It was swimming around my plate in gravy. Many pints ensued. Along with a mini pub crawl. Greenwich is gorgeous, green with glorious views. Everything is so old and scrunched together. A very tightly compacted city.

Say what? Is that reference to a long- dead artist being a fussy eater some weird art student thing? Or are you really ASIO agents sending some top secret message?
